Job Description SummaryAs Lead Manufacturing Specialist - Production QA, you will be responsible for all routine and type testing as per customer requirement of transformer and reactor, test reports preparation for routine and type test.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Calculation and design of various test equipment like capacitor bank rating, rating of source transformer, bus bar and other portable instruments to develop the testing of 1200 kV SHUNT Reactor and AUTO TRANSFORMER as per customer requirement.

  • Regular maintenance and modification of capacitor bank (both labs) as per requirement.

  • Special test arrangement project like water cooling etc in water cooling type transformer.

  • NABL audit

  • CDD (Initiative from PTR for single format of test report in all PTR factory) support to PTR team.

  • Provide solution and discussion at site technical related issue.

  • Test instruction reviews with design in line with technical specification /MQP.

  • Shift wise responsibility.

  • Setup calculation of capacitor bank /Impulse for testing purpose.

  • Preparing test format and test report of special type transformer and reactor and variable shunt reactor.

  • Follow up maintenance plan of critical /major test equipment's on regular basic like Motor generator set/ loading transformer /loss measurement system/impulse generator.

  • Preparing test format and test report of special type transformer and reactor like HVDC transformer and variable shunt reactor.

  • Maintaining/maintenance of Test Equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • This role requires advanced experience in the Testing of 765 kV HVAC & up to 800 kV HVDC Transformers  

  • Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience) with atleast 10+ years of relevant experience.
