Roles & Responsibilities:


•Lead the Physical Design team through all stages of the ASIC design flow — floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and sign-off.


•Own block-level and top-level implementation using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence Innovus, Synopsys ICC2, or equivalent).


•Drive timing closure, power optimization, and signal integrity across full-chip designs.


•Manage physical verification (DRC/LVS/ANTENNA/ERC) and work with foundries to ensure manufacturability compliance.


•Define and maintain PD methodologies, scripts, and automation to improve flow efficiency.


•Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior physical design engineers.


•Review and analyze timing reports, congestion maps, and design constraints to identify and resolve bottlenecks.


•Support design reviews, project planning, and schedule tracking to meet tape-out deadlines.

Requirements:


•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field


•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


•Strong communication and collaboration abilities
