In this role, you have the opportunity to
● Be part of the Merchant Lending Leadership team and be responsible for building an ecosystem of loyal, high-value, premium merchants that gain access to business loans from BharatPe
● Develop and execute effective on ground activation and sales strategies that drive share of wallet, enhance product cross sell & monetization opportunities for BharatPe while delivering superior experience for all products taken by these premium merchants
● Build strong local market understanding to shape penetration of business loans in existing and new markets and set up sales ecosystem to drive payment and loan market share, cross-sell and servicing in these markets
● Leverage your leadership skills and industry knowledge to inspire and guide your team towards success
● Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that BharatPe dominates the market with identified premium merchants
Responsibilities will include
Functional Expertise
● Management of locally based sales teams responsible for driving share of wallet, cross-sell and ensuring service excellence for merchants with Business Loans
● Development of strong on-ground relationship with premium merchants to ensure timely loan repayment and to create opportunity for repeat and top-up loans
● Ability to effectively forecast and drive critical lead and lag KPIs across team to ensure overall goals of charter are met regularly
● Ensure effective market implementation of defined strategies with high rigor and drive high merchant level focus in field
● Ability to use data analysis, create strategies to maximize effectiveness of on ground sales teams in service of defined goals
Interaction
● High cross functional exposure – interact with various business teams to strategize for effective cross sell, with product and tech teams to enhance distribution capabilities, risk and collection teams for on-ground insights that enhance policy and collection capabilities and service excellence teams for delivering superlative experience
● Champion our business loan offering in the market and bring in an "outside-in" view in terms of competition strategies, merchant needs and market insights that will help us strengthen our market offerings
Problem Solving
● Develop strategies that maximize share of wallet, merchant experience and monetization while ensuring loan obligations are met
● Develop and implement new GTM strategies and new City/State Launches that allow us to effectively expand our presence
● Use market insights to help improve offerings across business lines to increase our GTM effectiveness

Qualification & Experience

●Post Graduate Degree / MBA – Preferred Premiere B School.
●9-14 years of experience with exposure and understanding in managing Key Accounts
●Experience in driving on-ground sales in financial services
Skills & know-how
● Experience in managing direct sales teams for distribution of financial products to
small business and enterprises
● Strong leadership skills which include people management skills to drive sales
● Have strong influencing and negotiation skills and able to build rapport with clients
quickly.
