Key responsibility areas:

Acies is seeking a meticulous and experienced Product Testing Specialist to join our dynamic Product Development team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products across the treasury, risk, finance, and regulatory compliance domains. This role encompasses the full test lifecycle, from strategic planning and test case design to script creation, execution, and comprehensive reporting.

• Test Automation Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using
  Python
  as the core language.
• Framework Ownership:
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks using
  PyTest
  for unit, integration, and functional testing.
• End-to-End Testing:
• Implement and maintain browser-based automation using
  Playwright
  for UI and end-to-end testing across multiple platforms and browsers.
• CI/CD Integration:
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality.
• Test Strategy & Coverage:
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies, improve test coverage, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Bug Reporting & Triage:
• Identify, document, and track bugs; work closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Code Quality & Reviews:
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high standards of code quality and test reliability.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and automation processes. Provide regular reports on test execution and coverage.

• Work permit requirements:
  Either Indian Citizen or having valid work permit to work in India
• Period of engagement:
  Full-time position
• Probation period:
  6 months
• Compensation:
  Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process.

• Leave:

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in
  Python
  (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with
  PyTest
  for writing and organizing test cases.
• Solid understanding of
  Playwright
  for browser automation (or similar tools like Selenium).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
