Job Description – eCommerce, Performance Marketing Manager (Digital Appliances)

The
Performance Marketing Manager
will play a pivotal role in driving Samsung's digital marketing efforts, focusing on performance marketing activities across key marketplace portals such as Amazon and Flipkart. This role is critical in enhancing brand visibility, optimizing customer journeys, and delivering measurable results in the digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Digital Strategy & Campaign Development

  2. Lead and manage performance marketing strategies for marketplace platforms

  3. Develop and execute comprehensive digital campaigns, including Display, Search, and lower-funnel performance marketing initiatives.

  4. Budget Management & ROAS Optimization

  5. Oversee campaign budgets and ensure Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) targets are met or exceeded.

  6. Brand Metrics & Funnel Management

  7. Deliver on brand metrics across the customer funnel: Discovery, Awareness, Engagement, Consideration, Conversions, and organic reach growth.

  8. Innovation & Collaboration

  9. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to design digital advocacy and social media campaigns.

  10. Drive innovation by leveraging Pureplayer platforms for promotional calendars, new product launches, and marketing initiatives.

  11. Customer Journey & UI/UX Enhancement

  12. Enhance the customer journey through content enrichment, UI/UX improvements, and seamless navigation on marketplace portals.

  13. Identify opportunities to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.

  14. Emerging Technologies & Thought Leadership

  15. Evaluate emerging digital technologies and provide thought leadership on their adoption to stay ahead of industry trends.

  16. Acquisition Strategy & Retargeting

  17. Devise and execute an overarching acquisition strategy, including Customer Data Management (CDM) and targeted cohort definitions.

  18. Implement remarketing/re-targeting campaigns to maximize customer engagement and conversions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in performance marketing, with a focus on marketplace platforms (Amazon, Flipkart).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including Display, Search, and lower-funnel strategies.
  • Expertise in budget management, ROAS optimization, and campaign execution.
  • Experience in enhancing customer journeys and improving UI/UX on eCommerce platforms.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Keen eye for innovation and emerging technologies in the digital marketing space.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with data-driven decision-making tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with remarketing/re-targeting strategies and Customer Data Management (CDM).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
