Job Summary
As the
first point of contact
for visitors and callers, the Receptionist will be responsible for ensuring
smooth front desk operations
, delivering excellent customer service, and providing essential
administrative support
to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office & Communication Management:
- Manage
visitor management
with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming environment. - Handle
call handling duties
, including answering, screening, and redirecting phone calls efficiently. - Oversee
meeting room booking
and maintain an efficient scheduling system. - Assist with
mail and courier handling
(incoming/outgoing).
Administrative & Operations Support:
- Perform routine
data entry and filing
tasks to support office records and documentation. - Monitor and manage
office supplies inventory
and place orders when necessary. - Maintain
cleanliness and organization
at the front office reception area. - Perform general
office administration duties
. - Coordinate with teams
to assist in smooth daily operations.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience:
Proven experience as a
Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, or similar role preferred
(0.6 to 1 year). - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil
is mandatory. - Customer Service:
Strong
customer service skills
and a welcoming, professional demeanor. - Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook). - Work Ethic:
Strong
multitasking skills
and ability to work effectively under pressure. - Organization:
Excellent
time management and organizational abilities
. - Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certification in administration is a plus.
