Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plant Maintenance Manager/Sr Manager at Modern Automotives Ltd., located in Chandigarh, India. The role involves overseeing equipment maintenance, implementing preventive maintenance strategies, managing maintenance teams, and ensuring efficient maintenance and repair processes. The Plant Maintenance Manager/Sr Manager will also ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Roles
· Installation & Maintenance of Plant, Machinery, Equipments & Utilities.

· Planning & efficiently running utility infrastructure & ensuring Statutory Compliances.

· Ensuring excellent, health, safety & environment of man machines & materials.

· Pursuing excellence in all areas of operation using TPM as Tool.

· Team building and inculcating positive approach.

· Efficient Shifting of Machine.

· Effective implementation of Performance management system & development program.

Responsibilities
· To ensure timely & qualitative installation of Plant, Machinery, Equipment & Utility as per plan.

· To ensure efficient running of utility infrastructure as per plan with zero breakdown.

· To ensure proper care with while shifting of machines like mechanical locking & check sheets.

· To ensure all statutory compliances are made & followed regularly.

· To ensure timely preventive & breakdown maintenance plan of machines, so as to reduce downtime to Zero.

· To undertake regular inspections and audits to prevent accidents and adhere to safety / environmental norms

· To ensure all the breakdown data analyzed & countermeasure & action plan.

· To ensure multi skilling of all maintenance manpower.

· To ensure the plan and inventory of tools & spares as per requirement

· To use TPM as tool to achieve operation excellence.

· To ensure closure of breakdown in manual formats & SAP also.

· To ensure Safety, Health and Environment of man, materials and machines.

· To ensure preparation of Budgets of Maintenance expense and power as well as controlling the same without any variance.

· Circulate MIS generated through SAP or otherwise, get it reviewed with the Plant Head.

· To ensure that all staff workers in the department have their KRA's defined and performance monitor during the year.

· To ensure taking necessary approvals for spares & capex from Plant Head.

· IATF QMS), ISO EMS) & ISO 45001(OHS) standard requirement practical Implementation in the shop floor-maintaining standard formats, training, procedures to all Concerned and effectiveness monitoring-monthly).

· Preparation of weekly shift schedule & submission to HR with the approval of Plant Head.

• To control manpower absenteeism and attrition by motivating and training to employees in co-ordination with HR department.

· To develop successor through 2nd line employees by allocating additional roles & responsibilities.
