Role Overview

We are seeking a 
Senior Planning Manager
 to lead project planning, scheduling, and monitoring across multiple large-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating robust project schedules, ensuring resource optimization, and providing actionable insights to management and execution teams. This is a strategic role that bridges 
engineering, procurement, and execution
, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed 
    project schedules (using MS Project/Primavera or equivalent)
     for EPC solar projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and execution teams to align timelines and resource allocation.
  • Track project milestones, progress, and deviations; issue early warnings and corrective measures.
  • Prepare and present 
    MIS reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics
     for senior management.
  • Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks; propose mitigation and recovery strategies.
  • Establish standardized planning and monitoring practices across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and clients to ensure alignment on timelines.
  • Support cost control by integrating budget tracking with project progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience
     in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring (preferably in 
    solar/renewable energy, infrastructure, or power projects
    ).
  • Strong knowledge of project planning tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.
