Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional to join our fast-paced team. This is a mid-senior level role ideal for candidates with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. The role will report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making, performance monitoring, and financial strategy across the organization.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in collaboration with business units.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports and variance analysis.
  • Analyze key business metrics, trends, and variances to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support business cases, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial analysis support for pricing decisions, investment proposals, cost optimization, and new projects.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets/forecasts and recommend corrective actions where needed.
  • Deliver insightful presentations and dashboards for internal stakeholders, including executive management.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives, including M&A, fundraising, and capital allocation assessments.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business, operations, and accounting teams to ensure alignment and data accuracy.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and the enhancement of financial planning tools.
  • Stay informed about market trends, industry benchmarks, and macroeconomic factors impacting the business.

Education Qualifications

  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) with 2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in FP&A or strategic finance roles.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial insights clearly.
  • Highly analytical mindset with attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate in a fast-changing environment.
  • Prior experience in a mid-sized company, high-growth startup, or consulting firm is a plus.
