Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Composable storefront (Spartacus) developer, with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of IT experience, to join our innovative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the ecommerce space as a frontend developer / senior developer and will be responsible for developing and maintaining our SAP Composable Storefront and ensuring it integrates seamlessly with our SAP Commerce Cloud backend. This role requires expertise in SAP Composable storefront using Angular and TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies. If you are a seasoned frontend developer with a hands-on mindset and passion for excellence and innovation, we encourage you to apply.

: The successful candidate will receive the $250 StartSmart Incentive post-joining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development: Design, develop, and implement features for the SAP Composable Storefront (Spartacus) using Angular and TypeScript.

. Integration
: Ensure seamless integration with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and other backend systems. Strong understanding of integrating ecommerce backend pages, components, content slots, media via APIs (commerce cloud OCC layer) is mandatory.

. Code Branching and Merging:
Demonstrate proficiency in code branching and merging, ensuring a collaborative, and streamlined development process. Prior working experience with any Git based version-control code base is a must.

. Code Review and Quality Assurance
: Conduct self + peer code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainable solutions. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure the quality, performance and reliability of the application.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

. Technical Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation related to development processes, code, and system configurations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the composable storefront. Prior experience with SAP Composable storefront (Spartacus) upgrades is highly desirable.

. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other Architects, Solution leads, business analysts, project managers, and other frontend and backend developers, to deliver integrated and effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of IT experience primarily focussed on front-end development with a strong focus on Angular and TypeScript.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on coding experience with SAP Composable Storefront (Spartacus) development.
- Working experience in ecommerce headless storefronts, and integration touchpoints.
- Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
- Proficient in code branching, merging, and code review processes.
- Prior experience with agile SDLC methodologies.
Additional Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills. (English)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work with other IT and Non-IT departments.
Preferred
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms, especially SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and previous experience integrating with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) is a plus.
