Social Media Strategist – Fitness, Health & Biohacking (Preferred)

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Strategist with hands-on experience in the fitness, health, and wellness industry. The ideal candidate understands how to build engaged communities, craft compelling content, and drive measurable growth across platforms. Familiarity with biohacking, longevity, recovery, and performance optimization will be a strong plus.

You will own strategy across key platforms, collaborate with content creators, and turn ideas into campaigns that convert audiences into loyal followers, customers, and brand advocates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end social media strategy across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook
  • Plan and manage content calendars aligned with brand goals and campaigns
  • Create briefs and collaborate with designers, editors, and creators
  • Analyze metrics and optimize for reach, engagement, conversions, and retention
  • Identify and leverage fitness and health trends, challenges, and communities
  • Manage influencer/athlete/coach collaborations
  • Run paid and organic growth strategies as required
  • Monitor competitors and emerging platform features
  • Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms
  • Lead experiments such as short-form videos, carousels, live sessions, newsletters, or communities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years in social media strategy, content strategy, or digital marketing
  • Proven experience working with fitness/health/wellness brands, creators, or communities
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, long-form content
  • Community-building
  • Performance analytics
  • Ability to translate insights into clear creative direction
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines

Preferred / Bonus Experience

  • Knowledge of biohacking, supplementation, recovery tools, sleep optimization, or performance science

Experience working with:

  • Online coaching brands
  • Gyms or fitness studios
  • D2C health brands

Familiarity with tools such as:

  • Meta Business Suite
  • Hootsuite / Buffer / Later
  • Notion / ClickUp
  • Canva/Adobe tools
