Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Lead and oversee projects across various kVA ranges within the assigned region from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring that project goals align with the strategic vision of the organization.
- Conduct thorough analyses of customer needs, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable project plans that optimize resources and deliver superior technical outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and customer support to ensure seamless project execution, alignment with client expectations, and timely delivery.
- Carry out comprehensive market research to maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive activities, thereby informing project strategies and customer engagement plans.
- Design and implement innovative technical strategies and customer engagement models that enhance client satisfaction and bolster long-term partnerships.
- Provide expert technical advice and ongoing support to clients and internal teams, addressing challenges proactively and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor project milestones rigorously, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards, while swiftly mitigating any risks or issues.
- Prepare detailed progress reports and present insightful updates to senior management, highlighting project achievements, obstacles encountered, and recommended solutions.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong ability to interpret customer needs into effective technical solutions, coupled with keen analytical capabilities and excellent communication skills. In-depth knowledge of current engine technologies and market trends is highly valued, alongside proficiency with established project management tools and methodologies to drive project success.
ExperienceWe are seeking candidates with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in retail sales or related fields within the power solutions. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects of varying scales is essential to this role.
Demonstrated expertise in translating complex technical concepts into customer-centric solutions and a proven track record in handling large-scale, multi-phase projects will strongly position candidates for success.
Experience with market analysis, strategic planning, and customer engagement initiatives will be considered a substantial advantage.
Industry PreferredPreferred industry backgrounds for this position include:
- Power generation and distribution
- Heavy machinery manufacturing
- Energy solutions and engineering services
- Industrial equipment sales and project management
Candidates with prior experience in companies specializing in diesel engines, generator sets, or related technical equipment will find a strong alignment with the role's responsibilities.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- Certification or formal training in project management methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong technical foundation in engine technologies and electrical power systems.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools to facilitate efficient workflow and reporting.
General Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, internal teams, and senior management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to address technical challenges promptly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to regional sites and customer locations as required.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with project scope, timelines, and budgets.
