Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Alibag for an Executive – Vendor, Supply Chain & Inventory Management. The day-to-day tasks for this position include managing vendor relationships, overseeing supply chain operations, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation. The Executive will also be responsible for coordinating with production teams, maintaining compliance with company policies, and optimizing procurement processes to ensure cost efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management

· Responsible for strategically sourcing, onboarding, and managing the external providers who supply the products which will be rebranded

· Identify, assess, and onboard new vendors for raw materials, packaging, logistics, and maintenance.

· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure the best value.

· Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, delivery time, and compliance with company standards.

· Ensure timely payments and maintain accurate vendor records.

· Coordinate with the Quality Control team to verify vendor product standards.

· Manage vendor audits and compliance documentation (FSSAI, GST, MSME, etc.).

· Maintain positive relationships to foster long-term collaboration.

· Ensuring the vendors business practices, ethics, and quality standards are compatible with company's brand value and business goals

· Oversee the contract lifecycle

2. Supply Chain Management

· Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.

· Coordinate between procurement, production, logistics, and sales departments.

· Monitor and optimize transportation and distribution efficiency.

· Forecast demand and plan supply requirements accordingly.

· Manage supplier and distributor relationships to prevent shortages or delays.

· Ensure compliance with food safety, transportation, and regulatory standards.

· Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies in the supply chain.

3. Inventory Management

· Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials and finished goods.

· Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

· Monitor reorder levels and generate purchase requests as needed.

· Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) inventory systems.

· Coordinate with production and sales teams for demand planning.

· Track inventory turnover and optimize storage space utilization.

· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management.

Skills & Qualification

· Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Business Administration or Commerce

· –5 years of experience in vendor management or procurement (food industry preferred).

· Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

· Strong negotiation and communication skills.

· Familiarity with logistics and warehousing software.

· Knowledge of ERP systems or vendor management software.

· Should be comfortable with travelling InterCity
