We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Head of Hospital Billing to manage our billing operations, with a primary focus on Ayushman Bharat and ESIC schemes. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 10 years of experience in a similar role, a strong understanding of government healthcare schemes, and a proven track record of optimizing billing processes and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Ayushman Bharat & ESIC Billing: Oversee the end-to-end billing process for all patients covered under the Ayushman Bharat and ESIC schemes. Ensure timely and accurate claim submission, follow-up, and reconciliation.
* Process Management: Develop, implement, and maintain efficient billing policies and procedures to maximize revenue and reduce claim denials.
* Team Leadership: Lead and train the billing team, ensuring they are up-to-date on the latest billing codes, regulations, and scheme-specific requirements.
* Compliance & Audits: Ensure all billing practices comply with national healthcare regulations and the specific guidelines of Ayushman Bharat and ESIC. Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
* Revenue Cycle Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as claim denial rates, accounts receivable days, and payment turnaround times. Identify and resolve issues to improve the overall revenue cycle.
* Reporting: Generate regular reports on billing performance, revenue trends, and compliance metrics for senior management.
Qualifications
* Experience: 4-10 years of experience in hospital billing, with significant experience in managing Ayushman Bharat and ESIC billing.
* Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing software and government healthcare schemes.
* Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business) is preferred.
This role requires a dedicated professional who is meticulous, organized, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
