We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Billing Executive to join our RCM team. The role involves managing the complete medical billing process, including charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the US healthcare process, payer requirements, and revenue cycle workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process patient information, insurance details, and medical claims accurately.
  • Perform charge entry and ensure correct CPT, ICD-10, and modifier coding as per documentation.
  • Handle claim submissions to insurance companies within defined timelines.
  • Manage denials and rejections, identify root causes, and initiate timely re-submissions.
  • Post payments and adjustments accurately in the billing system.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies to resolve claim issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer rules, HIPAA compliance, and billing guidelines.
  • Coordinate with AR, coding, and charge entry teams to ensure end-to-end claim resolution.
  • Meet daily and monthly productivity and quality targets.

Requirements

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experienced in US Medical Billing / RCM process preferred
  • Good understanding of EOBs (Explanation of Benefits), CPT, ICD-10, and healthcare terminology.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with medical billing software (e.g., Kareo, AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
