Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Pharmacist cum Receptionist to join our team. This is a multifaceted role that combines pharmacy expertise with front-office management. As a Pharmacist cum Receptionist, you will not only ensure accurate dispensing of psychiatric medicines and proper stock management but also handle reception duties, patient coordination, and billing. The role requires a balance of clinical knowledge, administrative efficiency, and compassionate interaction with patients and families, making you an integral part of the care team at Thriving Minds.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Management:

Ordering Medicines:Place orders for required psychiatric medicines on time to ensure availability.

_ Receiving Medicines:_Check and receive medicines from vendors, verifying quantity, quality, and expiry dates.

Stock Inventory:Maintain an updated record of all medicines, arrange them properly, and regularly monitor expiry dates to avoid wastage.

Vendor Coordination: Communicate with medical suppliers/vendors for timely deliveries and best pricing, maintaining good relationships with them.

_ Maintaining Pharmacy Up-to-Date:_Ensure shelves are organized, stock is properly labelled, and the pharmacy is clean and well-managed at all times as per compliances.

Dispensing Medicines: Provide medicines to patients as prescribed by the psychiatrist, ensuring accurate dosage.

Patient Guidance:Explain to patients and their families how to take the medicines, dosage schedule, and any precautions to be followed as mentioned by the doctor in prescription.

Front Desk & Reception Duties (Few hours): Patient Greeting: Welcome patients and families with warmth and empathy.

Appointment Handling:Support in scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments whenever required.

Billing & Records: Prepare bills for medicines and clinical services, update patient details in the EMR software, and ensure records are accurate.

Back-up Responsibility: While reception/front desk work will be required to be taken care of for only few hours a day on regular days, on the days of leave of receptionist, full day involvement will be required. This role must also be carried out with utmost sincerity and dedication, as it plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

  • Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a pharmacy - preference will be given to candidates skilled in securing IV lines and monitoring patients' health parameters.

  • Knowledge of psychiatric medications, including dosage and side effects.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and billing software.

  • Ability to multitask between pharmacy and reception duties in a busy environment.

  • Compassionate, professional, and patient-centred approach.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Job Timings: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday (Sunday - weekly off)

Expected CTC: 15, ,000 INR per month (based on experience and calibre) Minimum Experience: 1 year (preferably in a pharmacy setting)
