Position Overview
We are looking for a
Lead Recruiter
with
proven experience in hiring for CPA firms in India
— this is
mandatory
.
The right candidate will be hands-on, strategic, and able to balance
volume hiring with precision hiring
across multiple domains such as US Tax, Audit, IT, Consulting, and Advisory.
You'll lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, partner with business leaders across geographies, and mentor a small team of recruiters to build a high-performing, scalable hiring engine for our India operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the
entire recruitment lifecycle
— sourcing, screening, assessment coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding. - Lead hiring across domains such as
US Tax, Audit, IT, BFSI, Marketing, and Advisory functions
. - Partner with senior leadership to anticipate workforce needs, build pipelines, and deliver actionable
talent insights
. - Drive both
volume hiring
(for support functions) and
specialized hiring
(for CPA-related and technical roles). - Oversee
offer rollouts, documentation, and candidate engagement
ensuring consistency and speed. - Coach and guide junior recruiters — setting process standards, reviewing pipelines, and driving closure rates.
- Strengthen sourcing channels:
LinkedIn, Naukri, referrals, internal databases
, and targeted CPA firm networks. - Collaborate cross-functionally on
new office setups
, manpower planning, and hiring process improvements. - Ensure compliance with
employment laws, internal guidelines, and client audit standards
. - Contribute to
employer branding and candidate experience

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field; MBA in HRM preferred (or currently pursuing).
- Minimum 4 years of recruitment experience
, with at least
2 years in a CPA firm or Big 4 / mid-tier accounting firm environment

end-to-end recruitment, offer management, and stakeholder communication
. - Strong command over sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, job boards, networking channels).
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal
abilities. - Ability to
work independently
, prioritize, and close positions under tight timelines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting
new office expansion or large-scale team ramp-ups
. - Exposure to
client-facing recruitment
, U.S. business hours, and cross-border coordination. - Familiarity with HR consulting, talent operations, and recruiter enablement programs.
