Job Description for Legal:

Drafting & Vetting Agreements:

Prepare, review, and vet a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements including NDAs, MSAs, SLAs, vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and more.

Contract Negotiation:

Lead and support contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and other external stakeholders to safeguard the companys legal and commercial interests.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, HR, Finance, Operations, etc.) and external stakeholders to provide legal inputs and ensure smooth execution of contracts.

Legal Research:

Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a variety of topics related to corporate law, civil law, employment law, IT and data protection regulations, etc.

Pre-Litigation Work:

Handle legal notices, prepare responses, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with external counsel for dispute resolution and litigation matters.

Corporate Governance:

Assist in implementing and maintaining corporate governance best practices, including board meeting documentation, secretarial compliances, and policy updates.

Compliance Management:

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the organization, particularly in IT and data privacy laws (such as IT Act, GDPR, etc.), and support audits and internal reviews.
