We are looking for a high-energy and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead our outbound and inbound sales efforts for the US market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers, nurturing them through early-stage sales cycles, and driving meaningful pipeline growth for the team. This position is ideal for someone with strong prospecting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with US customers. If you have worked with B2C enterprises in the US previously, that's a strong plus.
Requirements
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting
- Conduct targeted outbound prospecting through email campaigns, cold calling, social media outreach (LinkedIn), and other channels to build a qualified sales pipeline in the US region.
- Identify high-potential prospects, research their business needs, and map them to our product/service offerings.
- Respond promptly to inbound leads, engage them effectively, and qualify their requirements.
- Build and maintain an active database of leads and prospects using CRM tools.
Qualification & Discovery
- Execute structured qualification using frameworks like BANT, MEDDIC, or similar methodologies.
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand prospect challenges, goals, and buying intent.
- Educate prospects on our value proposition, product capabilities, and business impact.
- Coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and the sales/closing team.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and complete CRM records for lead status, engagement activities, and next steps.
- Track daily/weekly KPIs including outreach volume, response rates, meeting bookings, and conversion metrics.
- Continuously optimize outreach strategies based on performance insights and market feedback.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging, identify key customer segments, and improve lead quality.
- Partner with account executives to ensure smooth handover and effective follow-up on qualified opportunities.
- Provide insights on prospect behavior, objections, and market trends to improve sales playbooks.
- 1–5 years of experience as an SDR, Business Development Representative (BDR), or Inside Sales professional.
- Must have experience selling to or engaging with the US market.
- Strong plus: Experience working with US-based B2C enterprises or US consumer-oriented brands.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in engaging US prospects—clear articulation, active listening, and professional email writing.
- Ability to run high-volume outreach while maintaining personalization and quality.
- Strong understanding of sales funnels, qualification techniques, and customer personas.
- Experience with CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar tools.
- Comfortable working US time zones.
- Highly self-motivated with a positive attitude, resilience, and a growth mindset.
