Purchase Senior Executive

Job Title: Purchase Senior Executive

Department: Purchase

Job Location: Faridabad, Haryana

Number of Vacancies: 1

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Timings: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in purchase in manufacturing

Education Qualification: Graduate/MBA

Gender Preference: Male/Female

Age Range: 28 – 45 years

Industry Preference: Packaging machine manufacturing or testing instruments manufacturing

Job Brief:

We are seeking a Purchase Senior Executive to handle supplier selection, negotiations, and timely procurement of materials within budget, ensuring quality and cost targets are met. Preference will be given to candidates from packaging machine manufacturing units or testing instruments manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute purchase orders for RM, BOP, and consumables.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for best price & terms.
  • Maintain supplier database and vendor development.
  • Coordinate with stores, production, and quality.
  • Prepare & update purchase comparison sheets.
  • Ensure timely release of payments.
  • Maintain purchase MIS and reports.

Skills Required:

  • Technical knowledge of purchase operations.
  • Good communication & email writing skills.
  • MS Excel, Google Sheets, and AI tool usage (ChatGPT, IndiaMART, Alibaba).
  • ZOHO ERP/SAP knowledge.
  • Supplier audits, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
  • Basic accounting knowledge (invoice, PI, credit terms).
