Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR policies, and providing support in recruitment, employee engagement, payroll, compliance, and performance management. This role will serve as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee payroll processing, attendance, and leave management.
- Support performance appraisal and employee development programs.
- Ensure statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.).
- Handle employee queries, grievances, and provide resolution in line with company policies.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communication.
- Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Liaise with department heads to support manpower planning and training needs.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and ensure timely submission to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist / HR Executive.
- Knowledge of labor laws, HR compliance, and HR operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software/ERP.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
