Position Title: Travel & Tourism Trainer

Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Travel & Tourism Trainer with hands-on expertise in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre. The trainer will be responsible for educating students/trainees in travel operations, reservation systems, ticketing, and tourism management, while ensuring they gain the practical skills required to succeed in the aviation, travel, and hospitality industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training sessions on Travel & Tourism fundamentals, airline procedures, ticketing, and reservation systems.
  • Train students on GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) for flight bookings, cancellations, fare construction, and PNR creation.
  • Develop and update training modules, lesson plans, and practical exercises aligned with industry standards.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations and ensure trainees gain practical expertise in GDS operations.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and feedback sessions to monitor student progress.
  • Stay updated with the latest aviation, travel, and tourism trends, including changes in IATA guidelines and airline systems.
  • Support students in developing customer service, communication, and soft skills for the travel industry.
  • Maintain training records, attendance, and performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Diploma in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or Aviation.
  • Certification in Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre is mandatory.
  • Prior experience as a Trainer/Instructor in Travel & Tourism or related field (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of airline operations, ticketing, and tourism management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and motivate students for industry readiness.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
