Training & Development Manager

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Training & Development Manager to design, implement, and manage structured training programs across departments. The role will focus on employee onboarding, skill development, performance improvement, and alignment with company policies, processes, and culture.
Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Planning
- Design annual and department-wise training plans
- Create structured induction and onboarding programs
- Identify skill gaps through performance reviews and feedback
Training Execution
- Conduct induction, process, compliance, and policy training
- Coordinate with department heads for role-specific training
- Organize internal and external training sessions
Content & Documentation
- Develop training manuals, SOPs, PPTs, videos, and handbooks
- Maintain training calendars, attendance, and records
- Update HR policy, IT policy, and Code of Conduct training material
Performance & Evaluation
- Track training effectiveness and employee progress
- Conduct post-training assessments and feedback
- Support probation confirmation and appraisal processes
Compliance & Culture
- Ensure employees are trained on company policies, ethics, and compliance
- Promote company culture, discipline, and professional standards
Preferred candidate profile
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of L&D frameworks and adult learning principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Ability to train across sales, operations, HR, and admin roles
- Documentation, process orientation, and policy knowledge
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in HR, L&D, or equivalent
- Certification in Training / Learning & Development (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 4 years in Training / L&D / HR Development role
- Experience in corporate, service, or multi-department organization
