Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Business Development Manager with extensive experience in Edtech. The responsibilities include identifying potential business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with partners and clients, and implementing strategies to expand the academy's offerings. The role requires developing and executing sales strategies, managing client accounts, analyzing market trends, and coordinating with the academic team to align services with market needs. Additionally, the candidate will lead initiatives that promote the academy, emphasizing collaboration with stakeholders to achieve growth objectives.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
Business Development Manager
with strong EdTech sales experience and fluency in South Indian languages. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in revenue generation, team handling, and closing high-ticket EdTech programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end sales for EdTech programs and ensure monthly revenue targets are met.
  • Manage a team of BDEs/Sr. BDEs and support them in conversions and daily KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to improve retention and referrals.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, forecasting, and performance analysis.
  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to expand market reach.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to optimize lead quality and student engagement.
  • Ensure all sales activities are documented and updated in CRM tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of mandatory EdTech experience
    in inside sales / B2C /
  • Proven ability to close high-value deals and manage sales funnels.
  • Fluency in
    South Indian languages
    (Tamil/Telugu/Kannada/Malayalam – any two).
  • Strong people-management and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Immediate joiner preferred.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.
