Job Title: PreSales Specialist IT Infrastructure, Networking & Security
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PreSales Specialist with strong expertise across Cybersecurity, Networking, and Infrastructure (Storage, Backup, HCI, Virtualization) domains. In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, and technology partners to design, present, and position end-to-end solutions that align with business needs and protect organizations from evolving challenges.
You will act as a trusted advisor, conducting technical workshops, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and architecture design sessions while guiding customers on best-fit solutions from leading vendors. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role requiring deep technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and propose tailored end-to-end solutions across security, networking, and infrastructure.
Design and present solutions spanning:
Cybersecurity Firewalls, IPS, EDR/XDR, IAM, CASB, DLP, SIEM, SOAR, Zero Trust.
- Networking LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, Data Center Networking, Network Security, Cloud Networking.
Infrastructure – Storage, Backup, HCI, Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V).
Deliver impactful technical presentations, demos, PoCs, and workshops for customers.
- Lead technical discussions to assess customer IT posture and align solutions with business outcomes.
- Architect solutions leveraging multi-vendor technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, VMware, Veeam, Nutanix, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Check Point, etc.).
- Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate technical inputs, architectures, and competitive analysis.
- Guide customers on implementing frameworks like Zero Trust, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA.
- Prepare solution documentation, designs, network diagrams, and BoMs for proposals.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams for feasibility, scalability, and smooth handover to implementation teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, certifications, and industry trends (SASE, CNAPP, CSPM, HCI, AI-driven security).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- 6–9 years of proven PreSales / Solutions Engineering experience across Security, Networking, or IT Infrastructure.
Strong technical expertise in:
Security – Firewalls, EDR/XDR, IAM, SIEM, DLP, SOAR, Zero Trust.
- Networking – LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, Cloud Networking.
Infrastructure – Storage, Backup, HCI, Virtualization.
Hands-on knowledge of leading vendor technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, Aruba, Dell EMC, HPE, VMware, Nutanix, NetApp, Veeam, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, Check Point, etc.).
- Experience in responding to RFPs/RFIs, proposals, and competitive solutioning.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills for technical and business audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking in customer-facing environments.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, CCNP, PCNSE, NSE, VCP, Dell EMC Proven Professional, NCP, CEH, CCSP, JNCIP or equivalent.
- Commitment to continuous learning and upskilling in emerging technologies.
