This leadership role requires deep expertise in Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI SDK, combined with extensive knowledge of financial services industry regulations, compliance frameworks, and business processes.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & VisionLead the strategic development and implementation of generative AI initiatives across banking, insurance, capital markets, and wealth management operationsDefine and execute the AI roadmap aligned with financial services regulatory requirements and business objectivesChampion responsible AI principles and ethical deployment practices specific to financial servicesAgentic AI Application DevelopmentArchitect and oversee the development of production-ready agentic AI systems using Azure AI Foundry Agent Service and OpenAI SDKDesign autonomous AI agents for complex financial processes including risk assessment, fraud detection, compliance monitoring, and customer serviceLead multi-agent orchestration initiatives for workflows such as loan processing, claims management, and regulatory reportingImplement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems integrated with financial data sources and regulatory databasesTechnical Excellence & InnovationHands-on development using Azure AI Foundry platform for model customization, fine-tuning, and deployment at enterprise scaleExpert-level implementation of OpenAI SDK (Python preferred) for building financial applications with LLMsDevelop and maintain AI agents capable of processing multimodal financial content including contracts, invoices, regulatory filings, and market dataEnsure robust observability, monitoring, and governance of AI systems across development and production environmentsFinancial Services Domain ExpertiseApply deep understanding of banking operations, insurance processes, capital markets, and wealth management to AI solution designNavigate complex regulatory landscapes including Basel III, MiFID II, GDPR, PCI DSS, and emerging AI regulationsDesign AI solutions addressing specific financial use cases: credit risk modeling, AML/KYC automation, market sentiment analysis, and algorithmic trading supportCollaborate with compliance, risk management, and audit teams to ensure AI governance alignment with financial regulationsQualifications we seek in youMinimum QualificationsRelevant years of progressive experience in AI/ML leadership roles within financial services or related regulated industriesAdvanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Financial Engineering, or equivalent technical fieldProven track record leading cross-functional AI teams (10+ members) in enterprise financial environmentsTechnical ExpertiseExpert proficiency in Azure AI Foundry platform including Agent Service, model deployment, and enterprise integrationAdvanced hands-on experience with OpenAI SDK (Python) for building production financial applicationsDeep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and agentic AI frameworksExperience with financial data APIs (Bloomberg, Reuters, Yahoo Finance), vector databases, and real-time data processingProficiency in cloud security, identity management, and compliance monitoring in Azure environmentsFinancial Services KnowledgeComprehensive understanding of banking operations, insurance processes, capital markets, and regulatory frameworksExperience with financial risk management, credit assessment, fraud detection, and compliance automationKnowledge of regulatory requirements including AI governance standards, data privacy laws, and financial regulationsUnderstanding of financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and trading systemsLeadership & CommunicationDemonstrated success managing AI transformation initiatives with measurable business impact (>$10M+ savings/revenue)Excellent stakeholder management skills across C-suite, regulators, and technical teamsStrong presentation abilities for board-level reporting and regulatory discussionsPreferred Qualifications/ SkillsProfessional certifications in Azure AI, cloud architecture, or financial risk managementBackground in financial services transformation, digital banking, or fintech innovationExperience with AI ethics committees and responsible AI governance implementationWhy join Genpact?
