Key Responsibilities

Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, vetting, and negotiating various commercial agreements (e.g., NDAs, MSAs, licensing agreements).

  • Legal Research & Analysis: Conducting thorough legal research and providing analysis to support decision-making and senior management. - Compliance Management: Ensuring adherence to all relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, anti-bribery laws).

  • Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support: Assisting in managing legal proceedings, liaising with external counsel, and supporting dispute resolution and litigation matters.

  • Advisory Role: Providing general legal advice to various internal functions (e.g., HR, procurement) on matters related to employees, vendors, and operations.

  • Documentation & Records: Managing and maintaining all legal documentation, records, and contract repositories.

  • Team Management: Assisting in training, supervising, and mentoring junior team members.

Job Description:
• Providing End to End lifecycle management of contracts including drafting, vetting and third-party negotiation of IT/software licensing agreements, MSAs, EULAs, NDAs, Statement of Work, other commercial agreements.

  • Providing general advisory, formalising SOPs and policy documents for the organisation.
  • Identifying contractual, commercial, operational risks and exposures in the contracts; providing inputs/ mark-up on contracts.
  • Provide legal support on ongoing contract management related activities.
  • Participate in discussions with internal stakeholders, external counsels and advisors during the entire contracting process.
  • Negotiation of contract terms and conditions. Leading Contract Management activities including providing advice on contracts, analyze risks and issues and recommend resolutions.
  • Advising various functions within the organization on various aspects related to employees, vendors etc
  • Participating in internal projects of organization and the legal department and leading
  • Managing, continuous training of the team
  • Sharing bets practices of the role with the team on regular basis

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: Typically 3+ years of experience in a legal role, preferably in-house or with a law firm
