Summary:

PDC Buildcon is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Accounts & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations, and supporting the organization's overall financial integrity. This is a key role in maintaining transparency and accuracy in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information.
  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.

General Accounting:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Manage payroll processes and ensure compliance with statutory payroll laws.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies and statutory regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Prepare and file tax returns on time.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to aid strategic business decisions.
  • Analyze data to identify financial trends and discrepancies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management.

Systems and Processes:

  • Implement and manage accounting software and systems.
  • Enhance accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Maintain proper documentation and financial records.

Other Duties:

  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
  • Collaborate with departments to achieve business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, ideally in the construction industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work independently and collaboratively. High standards of ethics and professionalism.
