Must Have Skills
Position: Senior Accountant
Responsible for providing accounting support to the finance team, including processing of transactions and reconciliations, and handling a range of accounts-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end general accounting knowledge and accounting concept
  • Process of intercompany Invoices between NL, Australia and India legal entities and other recharges, including Group Cost and associated documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IC transactions, including verifying, classifying, and posting journals.
  • Timely and accurate process of month end cost journals to a high standard, including accruals, prepayments, payroll and audit fees Manage monthly revenue recognition for all Dutch entities.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and address the root-cause for differences.
  • Performing month end activities along with preparation of all control account schedules.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard and to agreed timescales, including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and payroll on Monthly basis.
  • Assist in group reporting, and preparation for the annual audit.
  • Excellent understanding of standard audit procedures to ensure the ability to prepare auditor data request with complete, meaningful and accurate information.
  • Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Essential Criteria

  • 8 - 10 years' experience in general accounting(R2R) function, preferably within the IT/BPO industry.
  • Accounting qualification (B.Com / M.Com / MBA / Inter CA (Not pursuing CA)
  • Enthusiastic and with good communication skills.
  • Should be a real team player with a can-do-mentality.
  • Excel Skills: Strong skills in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas).
  • Knowledge of Xero & Lucanet then it would be helpful.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines, especially during closing periods.
