Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the financial operations of our real estate projects. The role involves handling accounts, taxation, compliance, and MIS reporting. The candidate must have strong knowledge of real estate accounting practices, RERA compliance, and project-wise accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, ledger, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare and maintain project-wise accounts, customer advances, and collections.
  • Handle GST, TDS, RERA compliances, and ensure timely filing of returns.
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Monitor revenue recognition as per real estate regulations (Ind-AS 115).
  • Manage statutory and internal audits; ensure proper documentation.
  • Coordinate with banks for project loans, fund disbursements, and interest calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Supervise and guide the accounts team; ensure accuracy in bookkeeping.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.
  • Experience: 410 years in accounting, with at least 3+ years in the real estate sector.
  • Strong knowledge of RERA, GST, TDS, and real estate taxation.
  • Familiarity with ERP / Tally / SAP or real estate-specific accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
