Role & responsibilities :

Minimum Experience: 5+ years, with experience handling SOC operations or MSSP vendors for NBFC or Indian Bank

Certifications: SIEM-related certifications (e.g., Qradar, Splunk, ArcSight), CEH, etc

Tools: Experience with SIEM tools like Qradar, Splunk, ArcSight

Role Summary:

(SOC) and ensuring effective security monitoring, incident response, and compliance. This role

involves coordinating with SOC vendors, supervising analysts, conducting vendor performance

reviews, and supporting strategic security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

SOC Operations Support

  • Assist in managing SOC performance and vendor deliverables.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and quality of SOC services.
  • Act as liaison between SOC and internal teams (IT, Risk, etc.).

Vendor Management

  • Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.
  • Coordinate with MSSP vendors for service improvements.
  • Perform on-site visits to vendor premises as required.

Incident Response

  • Act as secondary POC for security incidents.
  • Support incident investigations and response coordination.
  • Maintain and update incident response playbooks.

Tools & Resource Management

  • Support in managing SIEM tools and related technologies.
  • Assist in training and mentoring SOC analysts.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Assist in audit coordination (RBI, IS-CS, external audits).
  • Prepare SOC performance and incident reports for AVP Risk.

Threat Intelligence & Vulnerability Management

  • Monitor alerts and vulnerabilities from threat intelligence sources.
  • Assist in preparing intelligence reports and secure configuration documents.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support cyber-lab management and attack surface monitoring.
  • Assist in evaluation and PoC of new security tools and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of SIEM tools and incident response processes and use case creations.

Good understanding of networking, operating systems, and security frameworks.

Experience in SOC operations, vendor management, and compliance.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
