Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Laboratory Technician located in Manesar, Haryana. The role demands a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team.The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and execute inoculation processes, contamination check and ensuring the cultivation of high-quality mushrooms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inoculation Procedures: Carry out inoculation procedures with precision and efficiency, adhering to established protocols for introducing cultures into grow bags. Ensure sterility is maintained throughout the process and place the inoculated bags securely in the incubation rooms.

  2. Culture Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain cell cultures to ensureoptimal growth conditions.

  3. Quality Control:Perform contamination checks on mushroom grow bags, closely monitor mushroom growth and quality, and promptly identify any issues or abnormalities. Report findings and concerns to the supervisor for timely resolution.

  4. Research Support: Assist in research projects related to mushroomcultivation and product development.

  5. Documentation: Prepare reports and summaries of laboratory findings formanagement and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor or Master in Biotechnology, or related field.

  1. Experience: 0-2 years of experience in laboratory/ mushroom cultivation/similar agricultural roles.
