Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform flow cytometry analysis on patient samples to diagnose and monitor various medical conditions.
  • Conduct quality control checks on instruments, reagents, and data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, including data entry into electronic systems.
  • Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory technicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve issues related to sample processing and interpretation.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on new techniques, protocols, and technologies in haematology.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 6-10 years of experience as a Lab Technician (Flow Cytometry) or equivalent role.
  • Diploma or DMLT degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong knowledge of flow cytometry principles, instrumentation (e.g., Beckman Coulter), software applications (e.g., CellQuest).
  • Experience working with Haematology department preferred; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
