Role & responsibilities

  • Documents pertinent medical history from the patient or family members.
  • Performs other related duties assigned from time to time .
  • Schedules patients for neurodiagnostic procedures and obtain required medical information; explain procedures, alleviate fears, and elicit cooperation.
  • Prepare patient for tests to include measuring and marking cranial area and fastening electrodes to specified positions on scalp and body.
  • Performs procedure with appropriate documentation.
  • Operates computer equipment to record nervous system responses that provide quantitative and objective measures of neuronal/sensory function
  • Identifies EEG waveforms/patterns during testing and communicate to the doctor as per protocol.
  • Performs routine maintenance and repair on neurodiagnostic equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintains liaison with referring physicians to resolve problems and to advise concerning laboratory procedures, techniques and equipment.
  • Maintains liaison with medical, nursing and other hospital personnel
  • Takes part in the annual performance review process technicians

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate must have relevant experience of neuro department.

Candidate must be diploma in OT or diploma in EEG.

Candidate can walkin for the interview at Medanta Gurgaon on 4 Nov to 8 Nov 25 between 11 AM to 12 PM.
