Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead our International Holiday Planning division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in itinerary planning, travel operations, client servicing, and team management. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences.
- Itinerary Planning & Development
- Design, plan, and customize international holiday packages based on client preferences, budget, and market trends.
- Negotiate with airlines, hotels, and international partners to create cost-effective and attractive packages.
- Ensure travel itineraries are comprehensive, efficient, and aligned with customer satisfaction.
- Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end international holiday operations, from bookings to final execution.
- Ensure compliance with visa regulations, travel guidelines, and international policies.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely service delivery.
- Team Handling & Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of travel consultants and coordinators.
- Monitor team performance and ensure achievement of monthly/quarterly targets.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance knowledge of destinations, travel systems, and customer service.
- Client Engagement
- Handle high-value clients and ensure personalized service.
- Resolve escalations and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Identify opportunities for repeat and referral business.
- Business Growth & Strategy
- Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to enhance holiday packages.
- Develop strategies to increase sales and expand international holiday offerings.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of international destinations, travel regulations, and tourism trends.
- Expertise in itinerary planning and holiday package customization.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in travel software and MS Office tools.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism / Hospitality / Business Management (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in travel management will be an added advantage.
