Hiring: Asst. manager/ Manager - Reinsurance Operations (Assumed & Ceded)

Location: Noida [WFO]

Shift: UK Shift | 12 Noon 12 AM (Any 10-hour window)

Experience- 4- 9 years

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Asst. Manager/ Manager Reinsurance Operations to oversee end-to-end reinsurance processes including technical accounting, contract setup, premium and claims processing, reconciliations, and reporting. The role involves reviewing calculations, managing cash & receivables, liaising with brokers and internal teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring governance and compliance across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and review technical statements of account (SoA) for premiums, claims, and risk transactions
  • Review and set up contracts (treaty/facultative) accurately in operational systems
  • Review and reconcile financial transactions in line with accounting policies
  • Perform & review complex reinsurance calculations: reinstatement premiums, profit commissions, sliding scales, no-claims bonuses
  • Manage unallocated cash & aged receivables, ensuring timely resolution
  • Engage with brokers, reinsurers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
  • Support management and regulatory reporting, maintain audit trails, and strengthen process controls
  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency across reinsurance operations
  • Ensure governance through dashboards, performance metrics, and structured reviews

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in any stream
  • Relevant experience in Reinsurance Operations, preferably in Assumed business
  • Experience with SICS system is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Insurance/Reinsurance business
  • Understanding of GAAP & IFRS
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills
  • Self-starter with high integrity and ability to handle confidential information
