Role & responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management:

  1. Manage procurement of core food categories (e.g., dairy, bakery, meat, beverages, packaging) across all outlets and commissaries.

  2. Develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals including cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability.

  3. Identify alternate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure long-term cost optimization.

Vendor & Supplier Management:

  1. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; conduct regular

performance reviews.

  1. Monitor supplier KPIs price, delivery, quality, service level and

drive continuous improvement.

  1. Partner with QA and Culinary teams to ensure product compliance

and quality assurance.

Cost Control & Negotiation:

  1. Lead price negotiations, volume deals, and contract finalization to reduce cost of goods sold (COGS).

  2. Track market trends, inflationary impact, and raw material cost fluctuations to manage price volatility.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems Compliance:

  1. Work closely with New Product Development (NPD), Finance, and Operations to align procurement plans with business needs.

  2. Support launch readiness for new products by ensuring timely procurement of raw materials and packaging.

  3. Maintain updated procurement data in desired systems.

  4. Ensure adherence to food safety, statutory, and internal procurement compliance protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

  1. Graduate in Supply Chain, Food Technology, Business Management, or related field.

  2. 6 to 8 years of experience in direct procurement, preferably in QSR, cafs, FMCG food, or hospitality industry.

  3. Proven track record in sourcing food ingredients, packaging materials, or kitchen consumables at scale.
