Experience: 2–5 years in Mutual Fund Back-office / RTA / Distribution operations

Role Overview
This role is responsible for building and managing the entire operations framework for the newly launched Mutual Fund vertical. The incumbent will ensure seamless execution of MF transactions, compliance, data management, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
1. Setting Up Operations Infrastructure

Develop end-to-end operational workflows for MF distribution from inception.

Coordinate with technology teams to set up transaction modules, reporting dashboards, and client onboarding flow.

Establish SOPs for all processes including KYC, onboarding, purchase/redemption/switch transactions, SIP registration, etc.

  1. Transaction Processing & Client Support

Process client investment requests accurately and within turnaround time (TAT).

Monitor SIPs, redemptions, mandate registrations, and reconcile discrepancies.

Handle client queries related to account statements, portfolio details, transaction status, and AMC communication.

  1. Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all transactions comply with SEBI, AMFI, and organizational guidelines.

Maintain records for audits, risk checks, and internal controls.

Coordinate with compliance team to update regulatory changes.

  1. Coordination With AMCs & RTAs

Liaise with AMCs, CAMS, KFintech, and banks for operational issues.

Set up empanelments with various AMCs and maintain documentation.

  1. Reporting & Data Management

Prepare MIS reports, business dashboards, client portfolio reports, and performance trackers.

Maintain investment data accuracy.

Skills & Qualifications
Graduate/Postgraduate (Finance preferred).

NISM V-A certification (must or willing to complete).

Strong knowledge of mutual fund processes, RTAs, and compliance norms.

Proficient with MS Excel, MF utility platforms, and transaction systems.

Detail-oriented, process-driven, and strong coordination ability.
