We are building and expanding our Inside Sales Team, and we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join this exciting opportunity. In this key role you will be supporting the AWS SMB growth motion by driving structured outbound engagement with potential SMB customers. Additionally, you will be working closely with the Feet-on-Street (FOS) team and be responsible for lead generation, qualification, outreach, and meeting scheduling in alignment with AWS program motions like CEI (Customer Engagement Initiative), MAP, and Lift.
Key responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Campaigns: Execute outbound calling to curated SMB databases, run targeted AWS-aligned campaigns (MAP, SMB Motion, Lift), and generate qualified leads/meetings for FOS or Solution Architects Prospect Qualification: Identify use cases for migrations, starter kits, and POCs; engage decision-makers to assess cloud readiness, interest, and needs; position Crayon's value-added services Meeting Scheduling & Handover: Schedule and confirm discovery calls, walkthroughs, or demos; log data and notes in CRM; act as the first point of contact for SMB prospects with Crayon/AWS Reporting & Collaboration: Provide weekly reports on outreach, funnel health, and campaign performance; collaborate with FOS, GTM, Marketing, and AWS SMB teams Customer Insights: Capture and share voice-of-customer feedback with sales and marketing for improved targeting and messagingYour Competencies:
2–4 years of experience in Inside Sales or Lead Generation within cloud (preferably AWS), SaaS, or IT industries Skilled and confident in engaging customers through various communication channels Proficient with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and sales/calling tools Strong ability to identify customer pain points and effectively qualify opportunitiesAbout You
