The company is specialize in very large size glass doors, windows & movable glass walls. The Company manufactures, Fabricates premium Aluminium Doors & Window systems with in house installation services. Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled Window and Door Designer & Estimator to join our team. This role is essential in transforming architectural drawings and customer specifications into accurate designs and cost estimates for production and sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fenestration systems, CAD software, and estimation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to design custom window and door solutions.
• Create detailed fabrication and installation drawings using AutoCAD, EVA or similar design software.
• Generate accurate material take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing proposals.
• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop competitive quotes.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate component sourcing and pricing.
• Optimize designs for structural integrity, energy efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and product specifications.
• Participate in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
• Support production and installation teams with technical guidance and updated drawings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in window and door design, preferably in the fenestration industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, EVA, or similar).
• Familiarity with aluminum, or composite systems is highly desirable.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills for accurate estimations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with estimation tools and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of structural and thermal performance standards for fenestration.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.
• Problem-solving attitude with a proactive approach to design challenges.
