Sales Manager Coastal Shipping

We are looking for a Sales Manager to be based either in Mumbai or Ahmedabad. The candidate should have experience of business development in coastal shipping sector.

Role & responsibilities

·     GenerateLeads for both containerised and bulk cargo

·     Identify strategic clients across the country

·     Work on pricing

·     Establish and maintain good relationships with prospective / current clients as well as network partners

·     Provide contract-related issue resolution

·     Provide regular reports on sales and budget performance to senior management

·     Travel as required to meet with key customers, prospects, and other stakeholders across the country

·
Will be reporting directly to the Director Sales

The Successful Applicant

·     Should have good understanding of coastal shipping and inland waterways

·     Good contact with Shipping Lines, vessel owners, CHA's and Liner Agencies

·     Good knowledge of international shipping process

·     Should be a graduate

·     Should have minimum 2 years of sales experience in coastal shipping
