We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in India's exploration and production (E&P) sector. If you have a proven track record in business development, vendor registration, and relationship management with major Indian oil & gas companies, we want to hear from you
What You'll Do
- Lead Generation & Business Development:
- Identify and generate leads from Indian E&P companies (ONGC, OIL, Reliance, Cairn, GSPC, IOCL, HPCL, and others). Build a strong pipeline through research, networking, and industry events.
- Client & Vendor Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and technical teams in target organizations. Lead vendor registration and pre-qualification processes with major Indian oil & gas operators.
- Sales Execution:
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, quality) for timely and accurate proposals. Review client specifications and ensure optimal product selection and compliance.
- Market Intelligence:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Share insights and sales reports with management to inform strategy.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in sales, business development, or project engineering in the oil & gas equipment sector.
- Mandatory: Proven success obtaining vendor registrations and pre-qualification with major Indian oil & gas operators (e.g., ONGC, OIL, Reliance, Cairn, GSPC, IOCL, HPCL, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of oil & gas equipment (drilling, production, processing, transportation) and industry standards (API, ISO, OISD, ASME).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM/sales management tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
