Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing pharmaceutical raw materials, excipients, packaging materials, and chemicals.
  • Negotiating with vendors to secure competitive pricing while ensuring compliance with required specifications and regulatory documentation.
  • Managing the procurement process including issuing Purchase Orders (P.O.), following up on orders, and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Coordinating and attending trade fairs, visiting factories, and vendor sites when required.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement of pharmaceutical raw materials, chemicals, or related products.
  • Education: Graduate or above.

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to Travel as required.

Additional Advantage:

  • Experience sourcing materials from China.
  • Candidates with prior experience in a Merchant/Trading Export firm will be preferred.
