• Network of Affiliate Doctors who place orders for their consumers online on the Lenskart platform.When in 2011, the company was selling 30 specs a day online Lenskart raised its first round of funding of USD 3.3 Million from IDG Ventures India (IDGVI). In 2013, when the company was selling nearly 200 specs online per day, Today, when Lenskart is making nearly 2000 specs a dayshipped pan India and, has so far shipped over 10 Lac specs across the country and in the latest round, has raised INR 700 Crores from the investors namely, TPG Growth; Ronnie Screwvala led Unilazer Ventures; IDG Ventures India and International Finance Corp. Desktop Support Job Description:
As an IT technical support officer, you'll install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems, either over the phone or in person. You'll cover one or more areas of expertise, depending on the size of the organization.
Responsibilities and duties :
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary - Maintain and Resolve issues on LAN/WAN, VPN, biometric, AV systems connections.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems with desktop/Laptop computing equipment and software.
- Support in testing and deployment of new applications and systems.
- Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking.
- Conduct remote troubleshooting.
- Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware.
Qualification and skills:
• Education Graduation
• Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers and scanners, Bar-Code scanner, MDM etc.
• Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
• Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
• Excellent problem-solving, multitasking skills & good communication
• Minimum 2 years of experience in information technology or technical support
• Extensive familiarity with Windows operating systems
• Working knowledge of security software options and functionality preferred
