Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated Regional Manager to oversee and drive sales initiatives within designated regions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for execution of sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, fostering client relationships, and ensuring revenue growth in alignment with the company's goals and market demands.
Planning and Implementation
- Ensure achievement of the monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
- Drive the revenue growth within the assigned region(s)
- Identify and pursue new opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations, to expand presence and customer base in the region Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence
- Continuously monitor regional industry trends and emerging market opportunities to adapt licensing strategies accordingly.
- Stay abreast of competitor movements, strategies, and licensing offerings within the region to identify competitive advantages and areas for improvement.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including music platforms, broadcasters, streaming services, venues, and businesses that use music.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and negotiations, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure compliance with licensing agreements and address any issues related to copyright usage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, legal, and finance to align strategies, resolve issues, and optimize sales processes.
- Provide recommendations for hiring, training, and reallocating manpower resources to optimize departmental efficiency.
Team Management and Development
- Lead a regional team of licensing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and oversight to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and high-performance within the sales team
• Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team of employees across various within the - region.
Conflict Management
- Act as a mediator in resolving conflicts or disagreements arising during licensing negotiations, ensuring an amicable resolution for all parties involved.
- Facilitate resolution of internal conflicts within the regional team, encouraging open communication and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of conflicts, resolutions, and follow-up actions, ensuring adherence to agreements and commitments made during conflict resolution processes
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Analyse sales data to identify areas for growth and create actionable plans to capitalize on opportunities.
Preferred candidate profile
• Experience in sales and client management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of copyright laws and music licensing regulations is preferable
• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite
• Must be aware about the trends in the industry
