Job Description:

This job  is responsible for overseeing and managing all banking relationships and financial services of the company. This role requires the development and execution of strategic banking strategies that support the company's financial objectives, cash management needs, and financing strategies. The VP will also be tasked with managing the relationship with commercial banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders to optimize financial performance and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:


  2. Strategic Banking Relationships:

    • Manage and enhance relationships with commercial banks, financial institutions, and other financial service providers.

    • Lead negotiations and agreements with banking partners to secure favorable terms for credit facilities, loans, and other financial services.

    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to assess and improve the company's banking relationships and optimize cost structures.

  3. Financial Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and execute banking strategies that align with the company's overall financial goals and objectives.

    • Oversee liquidity management and the company's cash flow planning, ensuring effective deployment of resources.

    • Evaluate the company's financial needs and ensure that banking solutions are in place to meet those needs, including working capital management and debt financing.

  4. Treasury & Cash Management:

    • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring efficient use of funds across the organization.

    • Manage the company's treasury function, including cash forecasting, treasury management systems, and ensuring adequate liquidity.

    • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal financial controls in all banking activities.

  5. Risk Management:

    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with banking and financial relationships, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk.

    • Work with internal teams and external advisors to assess and manage risks related to financial products, loans, and banking structures.

  6. Credit & Financing:

    • Lead the development of financing strategies for capital expenditures, working capital needs, and other financial requirements.

    • Oversee the process of securing credit facilities, loans, and any other external financing necessary for company operations and growth.

    • Ensure that the company maintains an optimal balance of debt and equity in its financial structure.

  7. Reporting & Compliance:

    • Ensure all banking transactions are reported accurately and in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.

    • Provide detailed reports and analysis on banking relationships, financial performance, and risk exposure to the CFO and other senior management.

    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and corporate governance practices in all banking-related activities.

  8. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage the banking and treasury team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.

    • Collaborate closely with other senior leadership teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, Procurement) to understand financial needs and ensure appropriate banking solutions are in place.
