we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Chinese Commis 2 to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the Chinese section by assisting in food preparation, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring consistency in dish execution. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of Chinese dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is completed before service begins.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper storage of food items.
  • Support senior chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations.
  • Follow kitchen hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
  • Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the Chef de Partie.
  • Ensure minimal food wastage through proper handling and storage.
  • Learn and follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Chinese section.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.

Requirements:

  • Basic culinary training or diploma preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in a Chinese kitchen or similar culinary role.
  • Knowledge of basic Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good communication and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16, ₹18,000.00 per month
