Overview
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Analytics Content Developer to join our Analytics Team. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and delivering high-impact analytics content, with a particular emphasis on Tableau dashboards and visualizations. Your expertise in Tableau and strong analytical mindset will help transform complex data into actionable insights for our stakeholders.

As a Senior Analytics Content Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced Tableau dashboards that empower data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with the analytics team and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate data into intuitive, impactful visualizations. Your ability to craft compelling and insightful analytics content will be pivotal in driving organizational success.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to understand and analyze complex datasets, identifying trends and key insights.
  • Ensure dashboards and visualizations are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with stakeholder requirements.
  • Connect Tableau dashboards to various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of Tableau content, addressing issues like load times and data refresh efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product owners, and QA professionals, to deliver cohesive analytics solutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on how to use Tableau content effectively.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of Tableau projects, data workflows, and processes.

Position Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics content development, with at least 3 years focused on Tableau.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets, data wrangling, and working with SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and user-centered design.
  • Ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Experience integrating Tableau with various data sources, such as relational databases or cloud platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.
