Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Kolkata (Gariahat)

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure the alignment of IT solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors ( if applicable) for flawless execution of projects.

Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including project dashboards and progress reports.

Ensure resource availability and allocation.

Perform quality assurance and ensure standards and best practices are followed.

Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communication.

Lead post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years of proven experience managing IT projects.

Experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC), infrastructure deployments, cloud migrations, or enterprise software implementation is preferred.

Skills:

Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid models).

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello).

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Budget management and cost-control experience.

Certifications (preferred):

PMP (Project Management Professional)

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification

ITIL certification

** Kolkata based candidates will be given preference.
