Position Overview:
The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling incoming calls, and providing administrative support to maintain smooth office functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls promptly.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges as per security protocols.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
- Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and appointments.
- Provide basic administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Assist with office supplies inventory and ordering.
- Handle inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department or personnel.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management is a plus.
- Experience: 2-7 years in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a corporate setting.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
